I love it. Two thumbs up! I've been using it for a while, seeding it with artists I like, giving thumbs up and thumbs down feedback, and it has me pegged. What I like best is having it serve up music I've never heard but probably will like. It's right most of the time, pushes the envelope a little bit, but the errors are tolerable and I only have to do thumbs down once in a while. Maybe the concepts of the software are simple when you know and understand how it works, but I'm amazed by it.

If you haven't already, you gotta give it a try.

I like Pandora too. It's nice to see a rave for a change instead of an angry rant.

Ditto to that. I like Pandora a whole lot more than Slacker. With Slacker, I'd put on an artist that I liked, even if I don't like most of the bands from that genre, and end up getting bands that don't sound anything like them because other people who liked them happened to vote up other stuff.
The 'music Genome project' sounds like a lot of hot air, but it works much better than the voting consensus version that Slacker uses.

Something I've noticed -- and least I think I noticed -- is a few times I've seeded an artist and the artist would be listed but Pandora would show 0 songs in the library. However, a some couple weeks later the artist poped up on my station playlist. This was while I was still using the free service. I was so blown away with the thought that maybe the artist was added to the library because of my seed that I registered for the paid version right then and there.

Love Pandora. Much better than Slacker in my opinion. I listen to it on my bb as well as in my office. Clicking thumbs up and thumbs down for the last week or so, it is nailing the kinds of music I like. Then it also provides links to go buy the music. And it's free!

Always loved Pandora on my computer and getting it on my old curve and now on the Javelin.
Great for listening to my down-tempo stuff.

More love for Pandora here. GREAT while I'm jogging... grab a great high-energy song and playlist it, you end up with a song list that's always up tempo, and no repeats!

That's another thing I like..... I hate commercial music radio because I want to hear more than the same half-dozen top-40 hits when I drive to and from work. I longed for a free form station that would play everything and anything that wasn't totally horrible.

Satellite radio is so much better, but you are still listening to someone else's play list. And for the most part you are stuck to a particular genre on a given channel.

With Pandora, I have multiple stations that are various mixes of genre I like. I can have bluegrass, folk, rock, country, and blues on one station, blues and jazz on another, jazz and big band on a third, and everything on a forth.... That is so cool. I change station when I'm in a different mood, not because I want to find a song I like.

to Pandora, too.

I am listening to it right now to drown out a co-worker that doesn't have the ability to have an 'inside voice'. Comes in darn handy!

I LOVE Pandora! I'm a music freak. I need my rock, hard rock, and metal at my fingertips. I've noticed while using Pandora on the computer we gets ads and things, but, if you pay for it monthly, you can block those from my understanding. At first I was nervous because of the "data usage" warning but after looking at my past bills, it looks like i'm doing alright. I haven't come close to using the 5G limit. Actually, I haven't even used a gig.

That made me laugh, and I LOVE people like that.

Pandora on your phone is like Pandora on the Go. Perfect for any boring/awkward/annoying situation. =]
