Default Pintstack - What is this??

Please Login to Remove!

Super silly question, but what is BBforum.pinstack.com? Is it an extension of this site or a completely separate one? Also, it indicates that you can read threads without registering. Is this true or a gimmick? Whenever I try to read a thread it takes me to their disclosure agreement and won't let me read the thread unless I register. What am I doing wrong?

Another site. Not a part of BBF.

Totally separate, non-connected imitator.

Pinstack is a carbon copy of what goes on at BBF [purpose and function of the Site]. They are not related. From what I heard, and believe, PinStack copied BBF's format, including incorporating BBF's name into their domain name, etc.

I think in the Rants and Raves section, or somewhere else, there is a discussion of PinStack. Look for it. BBF's principal does not like to air his opinion publicly [understandable].

Be advised the above is my opinion only. Other BBF opinions differ in that many BBF members are also members of PinStack.

Lastly, this thread might be moved to the Rants and Raves section, or somewhere else, since IMHO PinStack is irrelevant.

Unless you’re a Mod on Pinstack and post on BBForums.com, doing so will get you removed as a Mod…….seen it happen and it’s a damn shame that Pinstack is run by a bunch of 9 year olds.

I cant stand trying to navigate that site, and trying to go there from the BB browser. No thanks

I just don't trust them. Unless I'm doing something wrong, they take great pains to lead you to believe that you can read posts without registering, but you can't get to any threads without registering and giving out your personal information. Be up front and let folks know that registration is required. Don't try to be coy about it.
