You don't register the "phone", you create an account with your BlackBerry ID.

Not sure what you are after. If you are asking about multiple users using the same BlackBerry ID, it's a bad idea.

Thanks for the reply.

I have just upgraded and now have my old Bold 9000 on PAYG. I would like to keep the Apps on both my old Bold 9000 and new Torch 9800 the same using my existing BB App World account.

I am not sure if it is possible to register two BlackBerry IDs to one BB App World account.

I hope this is more clearer.

I don't see a problem with a user who owns multiple devices and switches back and forth. One scenario I've encountered is someone with a weekday/work BlackBerry and a weekend BlackBerry. And I imagine that is one of the types of users the BlackBerry ID service is targeted at, among the many intended uses.

I really don't know what difficulties (or maybe terms of service violations) would arise in your scenario with two BlackBerrys in use (active) at the same time with a user using the same BlackBerry ID on both. There may be no problem. I don't know.

Regarding two Blackberry ID's, that would mean two BlackBerry App World accounts the way I understand things. I'm not sure you want to go that route.

You mention PAYG. Do you have a BlackBerry data plan on that account? If not, then whole question is moot, anyway, because you won't be using App World on that BlackBerry without a BlackBerry data plan.

Yes, I have a BB data account on both the PAYG and contract account.
