We need forum member(s) to help write a new BlackBerry Ringtones sticky FAQ. Please post it in this thread. I will merge the information and make a FAQ sticky based on this thread.

The old ringtones threads are a little confusing, and we need one of you to pick out the best information and rewrite the text. (If you recycle information found in this forum, as long as it is not copyrighted, please keep credits, and cite the forum members that provided the info!)

Not just links to websites, but explaining how to get ringtones working, how to obtain them, how to make them loud (to overcome volume limitations), how to create them from your files, not just the 7100 series but other models too as well. If you made a really good post there, please link to the thread or copy and paste the "best of the best" text for integration into a FAQ. If you want to have a stab at creating the complete FAQ, go ahead - you'll get even more credit! This Ringtones FAQ will also be linked from my main BlackBerry FAQ thread in my signature too.
