Exclamation BES with Exchange 2000 and 2007

Please Login to Remove!

Hi

We have a single BES server and a single exchange server (2000). We're planning to migrate to Exchange 2007 later this year - so for a period of about 6 months, some users will be on Exchange 2000 and on Exchange 2007 until everyone moves over.

Question is, will this be ok for the bes, ie users on different exchange versions? Would I need to do anything on the BES (apart form making sure its the latest 4.1 service pack)

Many thanks

I know that 2000 and 2003 with BES operated just fine. You'll need to confirm that your besadmin account has sufficient permissions (send as/receive as).

should be fine. Of course there isn't yet BES support for Exchange2007 environments. I have my disks here but I am waiting for a green light from RIM.

Thanks for that. I gather the green light is imminent - so I'll wait and see too.

Thanks!
