Default 71XX Shortcuts from Home Screen

Please Login to Remove!

Does anyone know if there is any way to overide the default option of not being able to use shortcuts from Home screen?

Nope. That was my first complaint about the 7100t when I first got it.

Second time today that question has come up. One of the major things I don't like about the 71xxs. That and Suretype

The "Applications" sub-folder depends on the themes you choose. In any event, you can not enable the shortcuts on a 71xx.

Exactly why I gave mine up too. No shortcuts. I do have a tips doc that has some help for you at my tips site FWIW.

A slightly different take on this; my wife has a 7100t. It is her first Blackberry. She has never used the shortcuts, doesn't know about them, and doesn't miss them! So for first time customers, this is not as big a deal as it is for those of us who have had BlackBerrys in the past.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry7130/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/107)

But I'm wondering if there is a way to code an app similar to the 'C' compose app that someone wrote.

You could always use Pocket Day, which allows for several shortcuts.
