I am surprised we have not seen much in the way of leaks. Q1 is a third over already LOL.

As another user said, we need to wait for an official 5.0 OS release of Tour from VZW. As far as the Sprint release, they provided more of a hybrid.

I have the 8330 on sprint with 5.0 but I don't like that it keeps deleting my sms since I don't have enough memory. I have very few apps since I have a separate touch pro 2 but just the bare minimum. What's wrong with the 8530? I wasn't going to get it because of the rumors of a 9650. How is the 9630 in comparison to the 8330? I was thinking of upgrading to the 9630 in the meantime...

5.0 on Tour is basically a maintenance release and just like we have seen 5.0 on 9700 before other gsm blackberries you could easily see the Tour 2 come out before the Tour simply because new hardware takes a much higher priority with any carrier.

I am not arguing priority in this case. I am merely saying the release will be a precursor

Anyone noticed that Verizon has now pulled all of their trackball Blackberry devices with the exception of the 9630? The 8830 was pulled last week and this morning I noticed that the Curve was pulled. Looks like Verizon is cleaning house to make room for new inventory.

Both the 8830 and 8330 have been updated.

8830 -> 9630
8330 -> 8530

It was only a matter of time.

The pearl flip/8230 is still a track ball device.

What do you mean, a "hybrid".
