According to BGReport, the Tour 2's trackpad is much better, it has WI-FI and it is improved in power. There is no projected release date in '10 as yet.

Techman, this is one of those occasions you will encounter, wherein you read something on BGR or CB or CNN, and run over here to post it. Looking around first is a great idea, and WHEN you find a previous (3-4) thread on the same subject, tag your comments along in the current thread.

This reminds me of a friend of mine, who in a discussion just a few years ago, of Central American politics and our national security related interests there, when it was mentioned of the Panama Canal not being under our control, she exclaimed: "Oh my God, we gave away the Panama Canal?".

I concur whole heartedly. A few threads have been generated re: the new Tour2. BGR generated pictures and ata re same prior to Christmas. Is there a means we have in the forum tpo "consolidate" all queries on the new Tour2?

O am learning to thank you for your comments. There are no less than 7 threads re: Tour2. Question again, can we consolidate all queries that are specific to any BB?

When feasible, we do consolidate. However, we moderators don't get paid enough (read: at all) to police every single thread here.

Bob, it's pretty clear that you're somewhat new to posting in a public forum.
If I can make a suggestion, perhaps it's best that you refrain from starting any new threads, until you're more familiar with how this whole system works.

You're off to quite a rocky (re)start here.
Just click and read for a while. Don't post yet. Get a feel for what a typical threads and replies should be like.

This forum is VERY active, and there's a VERY HIGH probability that what you want to say has already been said and is being actively discussed. Assume that to be the case before you post anything and you'll spare yourself and other forum members from a lot of headaches.

Very tactful Penguin. To echo my colleague above me. Yes, the search first tool or at least scan down the first page in a section is very helpful.
