With the new release of BES does anyone have OCS working with it? If so do you HAVE to have a CWA to make this work?

For OCS 2007 R2 you need CWA.

BES 5.0.3 will support OCS 2007 R2. BES 5.0.2 and lower requires OCS 2007 R1 CWA (KB17757-BlackBerry Enterprise Instant Messaging is not functional with Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 R2).
