Seriously though, this has been discussed in depth before. If RIM bought it, it'll say RIM. They've never hid it before. More likely it's someone who heard a rumour and thought they could make a buck as others have before.

I think there's a thread somewhere about all the 9000 series domains being taken.

The above domain record shows that Register.com's corporate registration services department (acquired by CSC Corporate Domains) registered the domain for a client company. RIM uses CSC/Register.com for their domain registrations, as do many other large corporates (my previous company used CSC/Register.com for both domain registrations and SSL certificates). I'm sure in a few weeks, you'll see the actual information on the record changed to reflect Research In Motion Ltd.
