Wow, I thought the 8300 was going to T-Mobile according to the orginal BG report. What the deal?

It seems unlikely that ATTingular would release this very eagerly anticipated piece of hardware on May 25, which happens to be the Friday before Memorial Day weekend and official beginning of Summer 2007! Nobody will really know until it is imminent. I'm still hoping for a T-Mo release.

Not that I'm going to confirm or deny the May release date, there is nothing in the intranet that references 83xx model.

Here we go again. More grumblings from T-Mo users. Why would it be impossible to release a phone on Friday?

Sounds like a winner to me!

I would not call it grumblings....we are just going by the BG original report of an release date of approx a few weeks on T-Mobile. He has been pretty good about info in the past.

The deal is, as NJBlackBerry has already said, that this is all rumor.

There is no official release information -- including anything that you have already read about the 83XX's.

However, despite that, I've never seen anything about any carrier getting an exclusive release on any 83XX so far. If you're going by what BGR has said you'll note that he said that TMO would likely get the 8320 -- not the 8300. They're two different models -- note the difference in the numbers! ;)

Nothing is impossible, nor did I say it was...just unlikely IMHO. As a retailer, I probably would not release a new product on the Friday of a holiday weekend. I know that when I get a 3 day holiday weekend, the last thing on my mind is rushing out to get the latest and greatest device to connect me back to the office. Especially Memorial Day weekend. Girls in bikinis or new Blackberry? Not really a tough choice here!

No grumbling here. Just hopeful.....now, back to thinking about girls in bikinis.........

I have been in and out of so many different Blackberrys that changing from one to another is only a 20 minute process and a gang email letting some people my new PIN number. The 8300 should only take minutes to have up and running.

I will take the new Blackberry and the girls in bikinis please!

Gregg, I agree that setting up is only a 20 minute thing, if that. It's driving into Miami, parking, waiting at the T-Mo store driving home that takes up my time. THEN, its the constant playing I'll do with the Berry the first 72 hours I have it Takes away from that bikini time...then again, always bikinis here in South Beach. Truth be told, I'd buy the thing any day they introduce it.

What we all do to maintain our Blackberrys! Can't live without it. I depend on mine for more than I should but it does it all so well
