Hello all. I am new to the world of unlocking phones. I currently have the 7130e on Sprint and awaiting an upgrade. I'm torn between upgrading to the 8800 (in July) or waiting for the 8300.

Is it possible to buy a 8300, unlock it, and use it with Sprint?

The 8300 today is a GSM only device. You can not unlock it and use it on Sprint, which uses the CDMA network technology.

And no US carriers are offering the 8300 yet...
