Default Using an Old BB

Please Login to Remove!

I still have a nostalgic love for BB and am actually thinking of switching back to my BB Classic from my iphone, but I wonder if that is realistic. My BB Classic gives me all I need, but although BB Link will download, it won't install. It would appear that there is no way of backing up an old BB, and when my Classic asks me to Verify my BB ID, I get the message "Unable to connect to the BB server". Is the use of an old BB unrealistic, or is there a way to get around the complete lack of support?

I happened to be browsing on another forum as read mention of BBID server issues. Don't know any more than that.

Several weeks ago wife and I switched to iPhone. My Passport was working ok, but hers was spontaneously restarting at least once a day and settings wouldn't open. The iPhone is the least bad alternative for us. I wouldn't see a reason to switch back at this point. What would be gained?

I agree Ira. Nothing to be gained. The glory days of BB are gone. I'll miss the keyboard. By the way the server issue was not an issue. I had just forgotten to connect my BB to wifi.
