Are you trying to use the BB as a modem? Do you have a BB data plan? And if Metro requires it, a tether plan?

Yes, I'm trying to use the BB as a modem. Do I need to have a BB data plan? If so I did not know that.

Thanks xx

You need the BlackBerry data plan to get data services. Then you need a tethering plan (if offered at all) from MetroPCS.
