Right - Camera

I'm considering changing the left to lock like someone else said, that'd be pretty useful..

Great idea... I never thought of that.

Wirelessly posted (Curve)

Left - Address Book (works better than Voice Dialing)

Right - Applications switcher (Home screen has very few icons, just those that don't have shortcuts)

Left - nothin'. VAD was too annoying to listen to every time I accidentally hit it and I haven't found anything to set it on yet that I like. For a while it was JiveTalk, but then I opened JT accidentally.

Left: Manage Connections
Right: BerryAnnoying (camera)

Those with Qwerty devices if you disable "dial from home screen" you can have convenience keys for Messages, Calendar, Calculator, etc. I just hit "M" for Messages, "U" for Calculator, "L" for Calender, etc. I hide all the icons that have these shortcuts and leave only the icons that DON'T have a shortcut.

I had no idea so many people use a valuable convenience key on Messages when the M key can do Messages. *shakes head*
