Right, I am not the only one to have this problem, but so far no joy in finding a fix.

Problem:
Unable to add contacts to BlackBerry Messenger. They just stick in the pending queue.
Config:
Bold with provisioning for BES and BIS. Original 4.6 software on handheld, Enterprise Activated on BES 4.1.6. I am the BES Admin, so device has been tested with Corp IT Policy and the unaltered RIM "Default" policy - same behaviour in both cases.
Tried so far:
Numerous battery pulls
Resending IT Policy from BES (x 2 types of policy)
Resending Service Books from BES
Resending Service Books from BIS
Reregistering device on t-mobile network
Turn WiFi on / Turn WiFi off
Tried on 2G and 3G
Tried reregistering handheld on RIM wireless network
Nice friendly reboot of device without battery pull
Tested PIN messaging - I receive all fine, but "problem users" do not receive messages I've sent
Tested adding BBM contacts by PIN
Tested adding BBM contacts by email
Problem:
Cannot get certain BBM contacts out of pending queue.
If I add them via PIN or email, they receive the invitation and acccept, and then we sit in each other's pending queue.
If they add me via PIN or email, I receive the invitation and accept, and then we sit in each other's pending queue
FYI:
BBM messaging works fine with existing contacts. I just cannot add specific new ones.
ANY IDEAS BBF? Am I missing something really obvious here?
