what would really be good is when you go out of the area that it still maps it.
It is an awesome application, priced great, but when going across province/state, it's not very handy. (except it still gives driving directions).

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry7100/4.0.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1)
I got a question for people who have downloaded this app. Are you gettin any type of errors when launching other apps? I'm getting a "max connections open" when trying to use ramble or bbtoday, this happened after using bblocal, any suggestions? Thanks.

The world's businest airport with the world's scarriest train. If I recall correctly, as you step on a very unfreadly voice informs you that the doors won't rebound or open if your limbs get caught in them so you can kiss your left leg goodbye if it doesn't make it in the train in time.

your memory of the train is true... but if you fly often enough, you have seen people who ignore the warnings and realize its more bark then bite.

Can you wait 2 minutes for the loggin and see if an error comes up? The timeout is set to 2 minutes so it may seem like it's frozen but it's probably not.

Did you download and install the BES version of the program? Nextel/Telus uses direct tcp/ip so you will need to download the BES version even if you're not using one.

Ok so I got bbweather and have some questions.
Do you need a bes server to use?
If not do I need to add anything special to the profile?

I downloaded it OTA tonight (BES version). Kitchener/Waterloo (where I reside in Canada) was said to be added, but I couldn't access it. I'm assuming this should happen soon, so I'll try it again tomorrow. Other than instructing the firewall to allow the connection, there was no configuration required.
In the meantime, I searched for my old address in Toronto, and it found it without any problems. The look and feel of this app is obviously similar to Helloworld. Its very user friendly.
The registration process asks for personal info such as email, name, address. I'm trusting that I won't be spammed to death by providing these details.. ;)
In terms of directions, I found some inconsistent behaviour. You can search for an address by just typing in the street number and street name. However, to get directions to/from another location, you need to type in the complete address of the second location (for example):
123 Main Street, Toronto, ON, Canada
By omitting any of the info above, your search will come back negative. However, if you keep this in mind, you're okay.
It's a good app and I think I'll keep it for a while. (it's free...why not?)

Jase,
Thanks for the feedback. You're right we're a bit late with the new updates, it should be up by tonight or either tomorrow.
Also we have noted the little bug you found and it will be fixed in the next update.
PS - I forgot to mention that your information will not be sold or passed on, we hate spam as much as everyone else. Especially when it's spam on our Blackberry.
