At work I keep my BlackBerry on my waist or on my desk but when I'm not in a suit and out wearing jeans I'll keep it latched on the inside of my pocket.

i use the RIM provided belt clip and attach it my belt at work. At home, it flops around naked inside my right cargo pouch of my shorts.

I clip mine to my right pants pocket (outside the pocket). Damn 7100i antennae would stab me if I had it on my belt.
Went to another building for a meeting yesterday and when I realized I *GASP* left it on my desk, I broke out into a cold sweat.

What a great idea, more comfortable and less pinchy.
Thanks for mentioning it!
Wear clip on the belt at work and naked in a pocket on the weekends!

As for when I'm on the move, it stays at 2, sometimes 3 o'clock on my belt. I may be in my early-20's, but the whole, let me sag my pants till I can sag no more never struck my fancy. I wear form fitting jeans and khakis and uniforms and the Nextel BB throws off that professional vibe when worn in a belt holster.

I have always carried my devices on my beltloop, but always purchase cases with swivel clips so that when sitting, I wear the unit horizontally, and when walking swivel it to be worn vertically. I must admit to having gadget-acquisition-disorder, which includes nicely made leather cases as well.
If I am wearing cargo pants/shorts, then the device frequently ends up in a cargo pocket, but not always.
I never carry it in an inside pocket on a suit coat or blazer - the weight of even the lightest device tends to pull the pocket seams and lining apart over time. Besides, it can look like your packing 'heat' when carrying some of the larger devices around.

Unfortunately, I wear suits most of the time and there is just not a convenient place to put it except on the belt. pockets are just not comfortable.
As for home, right front pocket of my cargos most of the time. my wife does get a laugh every once in a while when she sees my BB clipped to my pjs.
BTW, has anyone seen any creative solutions for attaching a BB to a laptop case, courier bag, etc.?

I welded the clip to the inside of my aluminum foil helmet so aliens couldn't read either my email or my mind.

I have a 7520 and I have one of those Nextel hash environment cases. It's got a huge clip I attach it to the shoulder strap of my Timbuk2 messenger bag. It's too big to fit in a pocket unless it's my winter coat.

Hmmm depends on the situation: Club inside my shirt (kinda hard to accomplish), in the mall or outside area inside my purse( to many slick people trying to steal your sh**), at work in my desk, in my car in the cup holder and at home on my pj.....ohh and in the bathroom in top of the toilet(easy access) LOL
