Default New version of Remote Desktop for Mobiles 1.2 are available

Please Login to Remove!

Remote Desktop for Mobiles is a complete, all-in-one product compatible with a wide range of mobile phones (RIM BlackBerry version also available). It consists of the Server and the Client modules. Based on a remote computer, the Server uses the TCP/IP protocol to communicate with the phone-based Client; it transmits the real time desktop view to a phone display, executes mouse and keyboard commands received from the Client. With the zoom-in/out option, the Client enables the user to view any fragment or the whole desktop of the remote PC and perform operations with it.

I have a new Blackberry 7130e (Verizon CDMA). I am able to accesss the test server but everytime I attempt to access my wireless laptop I get a "connection error". I have the Windows Firewall turned off, but I nevertheless have opened port 6100. I have tried using both the internal IP address (192.168.x.x from ipconfig) and the external IP address (67.164.2xx.xx from getip). Which IP address should I be using? Any thoughts.
Thanks.

Just so you know, the title to your thread here says "Version 1.2", your followup posts says "Version 1.5" and your web page says "Version 1.5.10" in the update pane on the right, but the date says Sept. 17, 2005 (maybe you meant Dec. 17, maybe that's an old update, hard to tell.).

It says that because the origional post for 1.2 was made on 04-23-2005 12:58 AM --- The post for a newer version 1.5 was made on 07-18-2005 10:24 PM (and he could no longer edit the origional post & title anymore) --- There was no post made here for 1.5.10 which was released on September 17

Nice screenshot! Will try it right now.
-EDIT-
Doesn't want to connect to my computer for some reason, I am able to connect to the demo server though.

I'm on dialup and I have the ip address right, the user and password also. The app is running on my computer and everything.

You have to give us some more information, what kind of error are you getting, who your carrier is, do you have a data plan? There are many reasons why you may not be getting it to work and without a lot of details from you we cant guess at it. Did you buy the application?

It stays stuck on "Connect to Jose@ipaddresshere.." and then show "Connetion error"

Yes I put in the right ip and I have data on my phone because I can connect to IRC, MSN, AIM and browse the web all at the same time with different apps.

Did you install and start the service end of the program on your PC. It is called the RDM Control Panel (if you did there should be an icon on the task bar for it). On this under contacts you have to add yourself as an account, it will ask you for an user name and a password with confirmation.

That should allow you to connect. If you paid for the program then it should have sent you the RDM part as well. If you are trying the trial only I beleive that only lets you connect to their site for you to see how it works.

Default Can't connect to RDM

I simply can not connect. I keep getting the following error message:

ne1:net:null:java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsExcept ion

I have no other Java issues with any sites I connect to or any other problems with my browser. The makers of this software are totally unresponsive to my emails and no telephone number to contact.
