Hi All,

I encrypted my phone using password.

I also encrypted Media card and media with Media files included.

Now i wish to save pics on my media card but all are with *.jpg.rem extension. I tried to disable encryption but the *.jpg.rem still remains.

My device is working fine and i have the original password.

All post i have seen so far r of guys who have changed phones or dont remember password.

I dont have option of emailing pics to me as the files I need total 167MB.

Please help guys....

A little desperate as i want 2 save my offc and kids pics on my laptop BEFORE anything happens to my phone.

Ok Got it myself....

Following things were done by me:

1) Options-> Memory-> Compression disabled.

2) Options-> Memory-> Mass Storage Mode Support=OFF

3) Options-> Memory-> Security--> Encryption --> Media Care=Enabled

4) Options-> Memory-> Security--> Encryption --> Include Media files=NO

I let the encryption ON. All like before.

Then connected phone to laptop. Input password on phone and in BBDesktop software.

Presto.....

Im able to transfer all pictures and videos unenctrypted with *.rem to my HDD.

Hope this helps other ppl facing this problem.
