Desktop manager can no longer locate my outlook files. I reset the configuration and now when I go in and select outlook, it doesn't find the file. The browse section is greyed out and when I click the browse button it does nothing. Please help, I can't synch!!!

Try the following

open Desktop manager
go into Options > Data Folder Settings...
find the current data folder (should be something like C:\document and settings\yourusername\application data\blackberry...
close Desktop Manager
open the current data folder in Windows Explorer
find the "Intellisync" folder and remove/rename it
restart Desktop Manager
reconfigure Intellisync folders

Outlook sync is absolutely essential I have +450 contacts and manual reentry is not an option.

Do you happen to have VPN for your office? If so, try this:

1. Connect to VPN

2. Open Outlook and let it run in the background

3. Now connect the blackberry and try and sync.

Since my company requires VPN to connect to Outlook, the first time I sync I need to be on VPN or it can't find the path the the folders. The Browse would be grayed out. You won't need to be on VPN every time you sync...just the first.
