Default TRACKPAD - Strange Problem

Please Login to Remove!

Hey guys. I've been having problems with my track pad on my Blackberry 9300 Curve so today I got a new one put in and it seems to be working fine; BUT it still has one problem.

Whenever the screen goes off after 2 minutes, and i turn it back on, the trackpad only allows me to "select" and not move the cursor around. To get it working again I have to hold the pad down (so "Launch" etc comes up) then play around with it, and it picks up the movement again.

The same thing happens after a phone call - if i hang up then come back to do something - i need to hold down again and play about.

The white flashing screen also happens now and then. The only "app" related thing I can think of is "whatsapp" - i dont really use anything else that it could be (twitter, facebook)

Has the device been dropped or gotten wet?

never dropped it and to my knowledge never been wet. The guy opened it up today and he gave it a quick once over.

Is moisture/damp etc a common factor in this problem?

It can be... Any moisture, even sweat in the pocket can damage electronics.
