I synch my 8830 World Edition with MS Outlook 2003. I've got almost 4,000 contacts, and don't really need all of them to synch (and take up valuable memory). Does anyone know a way to exclude certain contacts from synchronizing? Thanks.

Yep. Use Outlook Express to select the contacts you want to sync and choose Outlook Express in your DM sync preferences.

Thanks -- I'm using Outlook 2003, so I'm trying to figure it out from there, hoping I don't have to switch over to Outlook Express.

Although you cannot simply check off certain contacts in Outlook not to sync, there is a method:

@Bigolsparky: I just figured it out -- you can create a filter in Outlook and syncrhonize only those contacts in a specified category (which I created and named BBActive). I found the info on supportforums.blackberry.com.
