I agree, I was meaning racing with 4 wheels. And surely someone doesn't think you "trade-paint" with F1 cars, which cost about $15 million a piece.

looks like its pretty jerky in places. seems like RIM are going from fast bold back to slow curve on the storm.

Formula 1 car would DESTROY a MotoGP bike.

Every track on the planet, the record is held by a car. In fact, usually the top 10-20 records at the tracks are held by cars. A bike would be somewhere down the line.

Yes, you're quite correct about lap times. With the contact patch and downforce advantages of F1, nothing can compare on lap times. Never mind the physics of 2 wheel racing.

It would have been quite ridiculous of me to have made the very 'apples and oranges' comparison of 4 vs. 2 wheel racing...

That wasn't the point of my post. The previous poster mentioned the superiority of the 'series' over other motorsports, to which my response was an indication that MotoGP is a peer to F1 in terms of being a premier 'series'.

So.... back to the BB Storm ...

Cheers I hear Nascar is a lot of fun if you actually go and see it live...
I'm no racing geek, F1 cars are cool, it's watching the races live that stinks. i saw one in Phoenix once. You sit in one place and the cars go by every now and then. Few people can tell who's winning or even who's who. You kind of hear a bunch of engine noise most of the time and cars whoosh by sometimes and people ask each other who's winning. It's a lot better on TV. NASCAR on the other hand is a lot better live because you can actually see the race.

I agree with TheBigNewt. Live experience goes to NASCAR, while I enjoy watching the races on TV for open-wheel courses based outside the US. I personally can't watch an entire open-wheel race on an oval track.

I did some typing on a Storm last Thurs while it was in landscape mode - was impressed enough to consider switching from ATT. To me it seemed to take too long to switch from portrait to landscape but the OS was not the gold standard and the Verizon rep said that is corrected now (well of course he did).
