I am on a corporate BES that just enabled Content Protection last week. Ever since then, I have noticed my battery drains after my device gets locked (set for 30 minutes). I can have a full battery and if my device gets locked, that battery is drained within two or three hours. I have no applications running in the background and my backlight brightness is set at the lowest level. The device is only three months old. Is this normal.

I could not find anything on the FAQ or search here. Thanks.

I wonder if memory cleaning/garbage collection is running in the background. I found two kb articles on this...kb19731 and kb20451...on my device the settings are under security options/advanced security options/memory cleaning...

I checked and that was enabled. That makes sense. I disabled it and I'll monitor it. Thanks!
