Default BlueTabs - calendar, hidden dock, weather, 8900, 9600, 9700 (PREMIUM)

Please Login to Remove!

Theme name: Blue Tabs
Theme author: BerryCustoms
Supported Device Model(s) and OS: 8900 Curve 4.6 and higher, 9600 Tour 4.7 and higher, 9700 Bold 5.0
Download Link(s): Purchase from the BlackBerryForums store http://www.blackberryapps.com/produc...052&n=BlueTabs
Theme Cost: $2.99

BlueTabs is our latest functional and professional theme for the Curve 8900, Tour 9630/9650, and Bold 9700.
  • 5 upcoming calendar entries with access to each and the application itself (when using the version with calendar entries).
  • 5 tabs (contacts, messages, emails, IM, and voicemail)
  • 5 HIDDEN tabs (social site, media, radio, browser, and maps)
  • weather slot shown on the homescreen for use with your favorite weather app. Also shows on your lockscreen.
  • hotkeys : '0' opens BerryWeather if installed, '$' opens manage your connections, and 'space' opens QuickLaunch if installed
  • wallpaper friendly
  • hidden dock scrolls up and down when active/non-active

Another neat feature is the IM, voicemail, social site, radio, and maps tabs along with the weather slot. You can customize these to be whatever application you wish. They are the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th applications in your application menu. So, if you want the 'social site' tab to open Facebook then make this spot #3 in your menu. On the other hand if you want MySpace then put it #3 in your menu. The same goes for the IM, voicemail, radio, maps, and weather!

Purchase from the CrackBerry Store for $2.99 using the link below :
BlueTabs - Themes BlackBerry Apps - Crackberry BlackBerry Software Store

UPDATES:

Now with an optional 'no calendar on homescreen' version. Instead, the emails tab has been removed and replaced with a calendar tab. In this version your emails, SMS, and MMS will all be in one folder under the 'messages' tab. See last picture above.

UPDATES #2:

I have changed the BBM tab to 'IM' and it can now be customized to an application of your choice. Voicemail has also been updated so you can open an application of your choice as well. This is for those who want to open something other than BBM and Visual Voicemail.

UPDATES #3:

Support for the 9600 Tour and 9700 Bold is now available!

Some examples with other wallpapers all available here on CrackBerry in the wallpaper section :

Wirelessly posted (My name is Bubbles)

That is awesome, will the 9700 work with the 9000?

No, they are different resolution sizes.

I don't like that the battery icon never goes below about half-full and stays green...despite my battery level being at 20%.

I may have been a bit off in my original post, but I still think there are issues with the battery icon.

Just to follow up on this post, here are two examples of the battery icon.

The first shows it nearly empty, but still green. The screen shot was captured with a 15% battery level.

The second, captured 24 minutes later, shows a greater than 50% green icon while the battery is in a charging state at 35%.

Maybe I am just being picky, but I paid for this and I don't think an icon that shows what appears to be about 60% green when the actual battery level is reported at 35% is acceptable.

I also agree on the battery icon. It is not accurate at all.

Glad to hear it. The developers responded to an email I sent by stating there was nothing wrong with it. Now I know I am not crazy.

I love this theme. But under messages, it only brings up my sms/mms if my mailboxes are separate (which is how I prefer it). If I combine them, the messages tab doesn't work at all. Help!

Which version did you get? The one with the calendar/today? If so, then the emails tab will hold your email and the messages will hold your SMS/MMS.

I can't speak to how the version with a calendar tab should behave since I didn't get that one.

I deleted the theme despite the fact I liked it from a visual sense. I couldn't deal with the outrageously incorrect battery icon.

I got the version for the 9700 without the calendar. I really love the theme except for the problem I am having with the messages tab. I can also deal with the battery icon since I have been blown away with the battery power of the 9700. Its never been low in over a week!

You should have them set to separate. This way the sms/mms is in the messages tab and your emails in the emails tab.

If that is the case then you want it set to combined or theme controlled. When done you will have sms/mms/emails all listed in the messages tab.

What phone and OS?

Ourselves as well as others who have purchased don't seem to have an issue when the options are set properly.
