Also, I am sure it has been discussed but I cannot find it in the three + threads on this topic but how do you go about setting the size for these for transfering to the 8700?

Thanks again for the detailed instructions- worked like a charm and I am a dope when it comes to technical computer usage.

Thanks ,

Thanks Stinsondog- I knew the size-( I learned that while doing the Zen install).

I do not know how to resize- again I am not a computer whiz- I learn by doing and it has taken me far with using it for my business. I just have never had the need to work with pics- what program can I use to resize that would be included in a basic (Dell) setup? Do I need a "photoshop" program? I do not have any special graphic programs.

Thanks

Default Do you have Microsoft Office Picture manager installed

Really the easiest to use for this type of thing.

No- I have Office but I do not see any reference to that program.
I guess I am going to have to buy a program. I have this:
Jasc Paint Shop Photo Album(TM), Dell® Edition
It is a trial version though and does not allow resizing, it came with the Dell and I can get the full version for 30 bucks.

So the idea is that if I have a program like this I can click "resize" and plug in the 320 x 240 and I am good to go?

I found a program called JASC Paint Shop Pro on my PC- I am trying it out.

Thanks for the input- I will let you know how I do.

JP

Got it- I think I only have this program thru a trial stage also but it works. After resizing with program and saving I Right click the pic and "send to mail recipient" which reduces the size and e-mail it to my BB.

Thanks Stinsondog.

Perfect - couldn't get any easier than that! Now share some with us! You can upload any of your pics at www.photobucket.com for free and they will automatically give you the codes under each photo to post here so we can share with you. Also you can select several at a time with checkmarks and click Generate HTML and IMG Code at the bottom of the page and it will give you codes for all of them at once for posting in here - awesome service, and the price (free) is right...

Google image search: http://images.google.com/images?q=ph...&imgsz=xxlarge

And PicSearch: http://www.picsearch.com/search.cgi?...=yes&size=400p

Be sure to set searches to Large so you get them at least 400 pixels so you can resize them easier.

I have been working on a few-I am getting small white lines on the sides though on a couple. Others work well--Any ideas on the white lines? Size set to: Width- 320 -----Height-240.

Edit: I think I figured it out- Resize 320 X 240 is "pixels" not "percentage" default was percentage and I did not notice to change it.

I'll second the request for St. Patricks Day wallpaper. And add some more car logos (BMW and Lexus for me). These are GREAT!

seattle18,
You gotta teach me how to bulk resize (if that is what you are doing- I can't see you are doing them one by one) and especially bulk post these. I am doing it piecemeal.

Not that it is going to be my new hobby but when I want to do it I want to do it right. You taught me 99% of it...what is the last trick?
