Hi! I was told to WIPE my BB with JL CMDER - and did.

This Removed the OS too.

Now? Desktop can SEE the curve, see it's PIN- but CANNOT Connect to the device.

PLEASE Help me to get an OS on the phone.

I cannot UPDATE the softeare with BlackBerry either as it can't 'Connect' I'm told.

*YES I am trying to connect to Desktop with NO Battery in.

I have put the battery back in and it still gives the 507 error

Does desktop manager now connect to the handset? If so, then reinstall the OS.

Hi-

No, Desktop Manager still WILL NOT Connect to the device, only 'see it' i.e. the Curve 8530 and correct pin.

** I was trying the suggestion and got to:

5. Enter the following command in the Command Prompt window:

loader.exe /nojvm

** Do you type this RIGHT after again?

And this does NOT Open my application loader.

Any advice? I can get the Command Prompt to say:

C:\ Program Files (x86)\ Common Files\ Research In Motion\AppLoader

Then I try to type the last part and NO App Loader appears to start the Install half.

So are you saying that the instructions found here, What to do next if Jl Cmder will not connect and wipe - BlackBerryFAQ, are not working?

Just downloaded BBSAK-

** It's telling me NO OS Loaded- Please load an OS ??
**I Have downloaded, Run, and Saved the TELUS Curve 8530 software from RIM several times now.

Any idea HOW to load the OS into BBSAK?

Hi!

I followed the Forum's instructions and also BlackBerry's site instructions-

They make you select the Device/Handheld software-

i.e. TELUS Curve 8530-

I download, run and save it.

The install shield wizard? Asks- REPAIR? Or Remove?

If you REMOVE it seems to RE INSTALL the software.

Repair seems to do nothing.

*I have an icon and can 'reinstall' the software again?

It tells me it is the BlackBerry Device Software 5.0.0 ..

PLEASE Advise if I am NOT Downloading it right? And I will asap!
