I wanted to know if there was a way to unlock a Bold in Australia from Vodafone provider. Is there any way to get it unlocked? I called Vodafone and they told me that they dont provide the codes

I would contact horizonwirelessonline.com. I believe they can unlock devices from all providers.

If you have an Australian Vodafone branded handset, you can unlock the handset via the Vodafone website for a fee. Click on the "Unlocking my handset" link from the "Help & Support" link at vodafone.com.au. I recently unlocked a handset from them and it cost around AU$75 (I think) using the online feature as it was within the first 6 months.

According to the OP's profile, he is not a Vodafone customer, so this won't work for him.

Oops sorry, I thought they bought it from Vodafone Australia. You don't need to be a customer of theirs to unlock a handset using their website.

I believe he did, and I didn't realize you didn't need to be a customer. Do you have the link? If the cost is $75 AUD, it might actually be cheaper than Horizon.

If you have an Australian Vodafone branded handset you will be able to use it. Otherwise, they won't be able to give you the unlock code for it.
I think i have posted enough to actually post a link now LOL. I think this is the link (it is blocked at work and I can't get directly to it.)
Answer <- This link.
Otherwise, if you go to Help & Support and follow the Unlocking link from there, you can get to it.

I am not sure of the price, I unlocked a different phone and i "think" is was $75. can't remember off the top of my head.
