Default All: Delete your Apps after canceling your Blackberry Internet Plan!

Please Login to Remove!

I just canceled my blackberry plan on May 26th and i just recieved a txt message from att saying my data usage was high. I called att ,they said i have been using the internet charging 1 cent per kb, i had around 300mb which is $623. Nice thing is that i have to apply the Internet service plan again and wipe away the $623 to $30
Remember to delete your apps and e-mail service or just restart your phone from scratch before you press something by accident and leave the app on till forever.

Wirelessly posted (overwhelmingly stressed)

Really if you had no BB plan the device shouldn't be using internet! By default a BB with ATT shouldn't connect to the internet without the BIS plan or BES

Something seems to be missing from this story?

Once they take off the plan, it automatically gives you a pay per use. So to be safe, they have a thing called block in which it blocks off all internet service just in case you accidentally press on the browser and keep it on without you knowing.

Without a BIS plan you won't even have the browser.

You didn't remove the service book which enables the browser. Do so would solve your problem.

Options > Advanced > Service Books.

In theory it is possible but the BB's aren't supposed to have any internet ability without the proper BB plan not even pay per use

I'd say best bet is to just have them block data usage unless you really want pay-per-use data.
