Default Remove IT policy

Please Login to Remove!

I followed your instructions on this site and they work perfectly. But when I restore my address book, and that is all I choose from everything that I backed up, my firewall is enabled with a lock and that damn IT policy is back on my phone. I have wiped it using jlcmder, bbsak, and going through the command prompt. All 3 methods remove the IT policy b/c I can run certain apps I couldnt run before but as soon as I restore my address book back on my phone the firewall is enabled with a lock and pieces of the IT policy remain on the phone. It is the weirdest thing I can run 90% of my apps except for a select few that tell me I am trying to access inside and outside the firewall and my IT policy won't allow it. The admin guys at my work have confirmed for me 100 times that they did their part and I called Sprint and they say my phone is not connected to a BES server whatsoever. I hope someone can help me out here. Thanks guys you have been a great help.

Don't ask me to explain, because I can't. But sounds like the policy is still on the computer you are using and it is transferring back to the blackberry after you've removed it. See

I think you may have solved my problem. I went into my backup file and deleted the policy that was in there. When I transferred my address book over to my phone my firewall is disabled. What a pain in the ass to completely remove a stupid IT policy off of a blackberry. Let's hope it doesn't somehow creep back into my phone. I wouldn't be surprised if it did. Thanks man
