Smile HELP with my 8320 curve

Please Login to Remove!

Hey guys,

I joined this forum because no other place has been able to help me.
For about five hours, i've been trying to reboot my blacknerry (removing battery, downloading every single piece of software, looking everywhere for a similar post) but nothing has worked. This is a spanish, orange company blackberry and what appears on the display is the following:

BlackBerry Platform 2.5.0.40
SavedMessages
Options

When i press saved messages or options, this happens:

Error starting net_rim_bb_options_app:
Module 'net_rim_tid' not found.

When I press the menu button, a "close" option appears and when i click it, nothing happens, then the "close" option disappears.

Appreciate any help

Sounds like to need to wipe the handheld and then re-install the OS software

Are you on BES or BIS, if its company phone more than likely you are BES. I would contact your BES admin at work, they will know how to fix it. If its not a company phone more than likely you are on BIS, which you will need to wipe the handheld and reload the OS. Search the forums on how to wipe the handheld and just follow the steps. Good luck

My PC won't even recognize the blackberry...
I have learned that by pressing R theres a message displayed saying "radio turning on" and if I press the key again it will say "radio turning off". I also tried using ALT+BACK and a window appears saying java console. Next, i try to enter the java console but nothing ever happens.

help, please?

Try following these steps

Download the OS for your device and install it to your PC. Then delete the vendor.xml file. You can find the OS and how to remove the vendor.xml file here:

Since your PC doesn't detect the device, follow these steps:

If your PIN is not showing up on the DTM software then it's possible the USB port on your phone is defective. If you are still within the one year warranty period then you should get a replacement.
