Exclamation Security Wipe

Please Login to Remove!

Okay, so I recently bought a Blackberry Bold 9700 from a friend. But my friend left all of her stuff like contacts on the phone. So I want to wipe everything. However, it says that i wouldn't be able to use the email anymore after wiping. im just wondering will i really be able to use it or not?

This it what it says:

All application data will be lost! you will not be able to send or receive email on this device after you wipe it.

so should i wipe it?

After you wipe it, it will be almost like new, out of the box. There may be user-unstalled apps remaining on the device. If you have the option to remove user-installed apps, you can select it.

You will need a BlackBerry data plan on your line to use the BlackBerry email service and other BlackBerry services. You may or may not be able to browse using the wifi/hotspot browser without a data plan.

With a BlackBerry data plan, you will be able to use the email setup app to add your email accounts and create a hosted email account with your carrier.

You will need the data plan specific for BlackBerry in order to use the BlackBerry apps and services. There are some things you can do with a regular mobile data plan, but none of the branded BlackBerry stuff.
