I think one would tend to believe that its downfall would be attributed more towards lack of a "flashy" design and apps (or just being late to the game as far as a refresh is concerned) but not because of encryption although I see some validity to the statements made but I can't agree with this being the sole reason for its demise.

The article points out one problem. If your have a leader that's an idiot then thigs start to go wrong. Security is not the issue delayed product is a contributor
