dude obviously i have no idea. and i'm not a software programer or anything like that, but i keeps me so ANGRY that a piece of **** motorola FREE phone will let you send/recieve mms and this 200 dollar **** bag doesnt do it. i wanted the phone since i saw the AP article on it last summer. and now that i own it it let me down pretty good.

n plus what about the psp crowd you guys seen what those kids are doing over there. i mean c'mon how hard can it be to make this happen. i dont know why rim would do this on the first place. they are trying to sell the phone to ppl that don't even use internet on a cell phone in the first place. how are you gona have a camera on it THAT SICK, n then black mail the users into 'data plans' just so that they can send/receive mms. it frustrates the **** out of me to just think about this subject.

The 8100 can send MMS and a little research before buying it and you would have easlily known what the device can and can't do and what the cost of the van do's are..

It can send MMS... I am on T-Mo unlimited messaging plan... Unlimited sms and mms for all 5 phones on my account for $10 a month

well if you just want it as a phone and to text I believe you should be able to with regular cell service and sms messaging service. anything else would require a BB data plan. If it isn't allowing you to,you should call your service provider to help you sort it out.

if thats your idea of 'drop on floor' funny then you should get out more

on the up and up, it'd be cool if that could be done, though

thast my point.

if i dont buy the data plan i cant send mms. and when i DO BUY THE DATA PLAN it will count as text messages, one of the main reasons why i got the unlimited mms/sms feature.

and keep scamming the providers? dude they are scamming us in any case. come on, get a free dinky motorola and you can send/recieve pictures, get an expensive, attractive, exotic cell phone and you cant send/recieve pictures with the same plan? thaaaaaaaats a scam. to be more precise it is defined as "LEGAL CORRUPTION".

A suggestion if I may, prior to making future purchases of *exotic* and *expensive* nature, I'd suggest a little research first....

Best of luck!
