Yes; don't write this person. Sony still doesn't know if they're shipping these with Ethernet ports or not, they don't exist.
So stop selling things that don't exist, and nobody here should bother attempting to buy these mythical devices.

UPDATE: PS3 now official confirmed for release in the spring of 2006.
