I've noticed how if i use some of my own pics off the web as wallpaper on my 7100t that they have white borders on the sides... and the wallpaper that came with the BB dont have em....i'm guessing it has something to do with the formatting of the jpg... anyone have any idea how i could get rid of the border on my own pics for the wallpaper? thanks!

It's probably the fact that your image isn't formatted exactly to the height and width of the 7100 screen.

I forget the exact dimensions. They're in another post somewhere...

240x260 is the screen...

... but the "desktop area" is only 240x185

in order to have it format properly for both the picture viewer and wallpaper, then do it as 240x260 - the wallpaper will compress as needed.

Actually, if the image you are using is 240x260, when you set it as desktop wallpaper the image will get cropped. If you are creating your own image to use as wallpaper and you don't want it cropped, make it 240x185 (the "title bar" covers about a 10-pixel-high area, but a tiny bit of the image is still exposed on both sides of it -- if you want your image to fill those parts too, make it 240x195).
