Default Just got my 8330

Please Login to Remove!

I like it, but i have some questions and comments about it.
1: The apps I use are Twitterberry, facebook, msn, aim, gtalk, flickr, and google maps.
Does anyone have any good apps other than the ones i have listed that are must haves?
2: I see some people talking about os version, I have v4.3.0.127 is there a new version out that i should upgrade to?
3: Why does the email suck on it so much, anything besides simple text has all kinds of code on it that i have to sort though(this was not an issue when i tested out the gmail app)?
4:Any other tips, good sites for a first time blackberry owner would be great!!
Thanks so much

as far as #3 goes, OS 4.5 should be released for CDMA BBs soon, and this will fix your email problem.

I love Berry411 for business and POI searches.

Installing additional programs should not affect performance unless you leave them all running in the background. Make sure to exit programs by using the Exit or Close function in the menu of that app. These 8330's have lots of internal memory, so should be ok.

I swear by cases from Seidio. Seido.com. Holsters, full cases, all kinds of stuff.

For the email problem, I use EmpowerPro Mail Viewer. They have a 30 day trial. It reduces all of those ugly links and formats the email into an html format.

Final suggestion - customize, customize, customize. There are so many ways to customize your bb, even just within the default settings and options on the device. I have three customized profiles set up, a bunch of ringers, custom themes, fonts, etc. Make it the way YOU like it and you will enjoy using it that much more....

Consolidate aim, msn, and gtalk with JiveTalk. Best $30 you'll ever spend on a BB app.

Viigo, if you're into rss feeds.

#3. Sounds like you are getting HTML mail. To fix it now, you need an app such as Empower. Otherwise, it should be incorporated in BIS 2.5 (the current BIS release) and OS 4.5 - whenever that comes out.

#4. Read the FAQ and also Stinsonddogs tip site (do a search for the link)
