Does anyone know of a good password program that works with mac and blackberry.

I use 1Password on my mac and I actually just recently asked them if they planned to support blackberry. This is what they said:

"Thanks for taking the time to send us a message.

We've always wanted to support Blackberry at some point, but sadly we're not really close at this time. Hopefully, some time in the future.

Let us know if you need additional information on anything related to 1Password as we are always working to make your experience the best possible."

It's a shame though, because 1Password is really the best password manager I've used to date.

Try SplashID. It doesn't sync directly between the Mac and BB, but there IS a Mac version, and a Windows and BB version. You can keep the Mac version up to date, and export SplashID files from there and import them into the Windows version and sync to the BB (and vice-versa).

Downside: need to buy a Mac version (can be standalone) AND a Windows with BB version

I've been looking for a good program forever to get my mac and bb to sync with a password manager. I have been using SplashID for some time now, and it does work well enough, even though it takes some time to get everything done.

But as for now, I'd say SplashID is your best bet.

I have been looking for such a program for a long time. I do not see the point of the SplashID route because you still have to run the Windows version and synch through Windows. I run Windows on my Mac with VMWare Fusion, and use DataVault. I am not seeing the advantage of the Mac client unless it can synch directly to the BB.

I run SplashID with a Mac version and Windows version (just to sync to BB). I agree it would be more elegant to have a have a straight Mac-to-BB sync, but alas, Splash hasn't seen fit to do that.

Advantage? The same data on the Mac as on the BB. Input the "new" password(s) or whatever on the Mac, export it as a SplashID file (with a password), and then import into the Windows version whenever you fire up VMWare/Bootcamp/Parallels. Works the other way, too. Again, Splash COULD have made a MissingSync plugin and then we wouldn't have to this, but they didn't. Oh, well.

Datavault WILL import SplashID files, so the above will work as well if you choose to use Datavault instead of SplashID.

That's how I run it, you may choose to do differently, freedom to choose is a great thing. Hopefully, when RIM comes out with a native Mac desktop software, more companies will build sync software for that. Hopefully.
