I am finding that the 8900 can not stream video files. I use to be able to go on CNN.com or BBC.com and watch their news video on my 8320, but with 8900 I get this message: "sorry, your handset does not support this video format". Does anyone know what is the difference between the curve 8320 browser and the 8900 browser, and if there is a way to overcome this issue?

8900 supports DivX, XviD (MPEG4 Advance Simple Profile), H.263, WMV3. CNN.COM streams .flv format.. which is not supported by 8900.. I wonder whether any other BlackBerry does.

I just went to CNN.com on my Blackberry Bold and streamed the video of Mugabi visiting a hospital. No problems on the AT&T network and the BB 9000.

Yes my 8320. I can stream both CNN and BBC news Video clips with no problem.

I Called the t-mobile Tech support, they escelated the call to Blackberry, the Blackberry tech support says that it should be able to stream CNN and BBC but they think that there is something wrong with their websites recognizing the 4.6, Which I do not thing it is true.

I just tried on my 8900 and received the same message you did!

hmmm... I wonder how we could get these videos (on different format) work on our 8900. I just upgraded my OS to .168 and CNN/BBC videos really don't work. But I can watch YouTube and CBS videos with tmobile browser.

And I can't watch any web videos on .168

well, i upgraded mine and youtube and cbs videos work fine. why don't you reinstall the os?
