I have been having problems with the newer versions of GM as well. It has become less stable in following my position. GM has always been slow on highway update anyway.

In terms of Australia, I was in Queensland early this year. Nav4All brought me all the way from my hotel in Gold Coast to my destination in downtown Brisbane, door to door. Excellent navigation. It's also free until 2010. I use a 8700C with a GPS puck.

Well it used to be awesome! I remember when it was always perfect spot on and was realtime. Over time I guess it just got worse and now it sucks. Shame. Its something with the BB also tho, as going back to an older version just helps a little, gps is still funky.
