Thanks John when I do as you isntructed I get pointed to Telenav 4.7.0.07 not .22. Just to re-iterate I have an 8700 R(ogers). I have to assume that it just does not work on 8700?

Alright.. I moved to the WAP Browser.. I downloaded the Rogers version.... The Rogers version does not require registration / pin code. It is all automated in the install!

Turns out that it is only available for the 8800. Yet another sneaky trick from Rogers.....

Let me guess.... They have nooooo idea that you can actually use a BT GPS receiver with the 8100. Or do they? Maybe they just want to sell 1000000''s of 8800's and when sales slows down they may make it available?

Its the exact reason why. Rogers has to reflash all the devices so they work properly.
