Before I can even think of using my new BB 9500, can you tell me where I can locate the files required by Windows 2000 to recognise the new BB 9500 hardware?

I have the added problem of having to use an older version of desktop manager (from memory it's v4.2 sp2?) allowing me to sync my BB with Outlook 2000?

I loaded the latest (can't recall version no.) desktop manager shipped with the BB 9500, but it has no Outlook 2000 sync function. I understand things re Outlook changed in later versions.

Your help is appreciated.

uninstall old version of desktop manager, download new (4.7) version of desktop manager.

You need to d/l and install Desktop Manager 4.2 SP2/SP3. Later versions do not work with Windows 2000 or Outlook 2000.

Wrong answer. DM 4.2 is the only one to work with Windows 2000 and Outlook 2000 and earlier versions
