Default Magnetic Blackberry case strip problem?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all,

Has anyone ever come across clients reporting problems with the RIM issue of soft case magnetic strip that comes with a Blackberry, causing problems stopping their watch if it comes into close contact?

I’m unable to find any safety or product warning in the booklets that come with the Blackberry and case. I am also awaiting a response from RIM but Im wondering if anyone else out there has had any similar problems reported?

Thank you

Nope, never heard of anyone reporting that prob. Why would you keep your watch in the magnetic BB case anyway? lol

I doubt you do that, but otherwise how would your watch have such close contact with the magnetic case?

I think it was near their pocket somehow, but Im not entirely sure. Its a worry as if there is a problem we don't want clients making numerous claims for items. I honestly think RIM would already know and tested this but I need to be sure, plus there is always a possibility something has been missed. There maybe something in the health and safety booklet but so far I have not found anything yet.

You won't die or get sick from a magnetic field from the BB strip.

If you put your BB in standby mode by pressing the top button, and then put the phone into the magnetic case it will awake up

So just give up using magnetic cases, and try other types.
