Please Login to Remove!

It is possible for me to hookup my blackberry to a PC Laptop and use my internet connection (supplied via my BB) to give my PC Laptop internet connection?

IF SO, what do I need to buy?

Thanks,

You need to order the tethering feature from your carrier (Verizon?) and the appropriate connection software for your PC.

Apparently, I just downloaded VZAccess for my specific 8330 model via Verizon's Website. I am at work now and will try to install it tonight on my laptop at home. I will post my results if any? :D

Have you called Verizon to have them add the tethering feature to your account? This is a chargeable feature addition and you will not get it to work unless they've added it.

GEEZUS, they charge for freaking everything! I got the software to work though like you said it will not let me connect to the network. I will call to see how much $$$$$$. My phone bill is already like $250/mo as it is...lol my wife, mother-in-law and son we all have service with them (2 BB included).

Yes you must pay I think it was like another $20/mo to tether and access VZW Network! Like they don't make enough money on me as it is...I will wait a bit to see if I really need this!

$15 per month to add to your plan. $.50/day isn't bad or if you have AT&T DSL at home, free wifi at any McDonalds! I think Starbucks too! UPS Store!

Wow. I just connect mine (with a cable or bluetooth) and my laptop is online. Another reason I am glad to be with Tmo
