Default Bold Pearl?

Please Login to Remove!

Has anyone heard anything about a 3G berry for AT&T/T-Mo with a Pearl style keyboard? I have a Pearl and love the small form factor, but I'm really hoping to be able to get 3G connectivity. Plus my Pearl is on its last leg and I'm starting to look at replacement options.

This is really what I am waiting on. I have a 8100 from the original Cingular release...it is getting pretty beat up...the back is cracked the chrome is half rubbed off, replaced the trackball once, and if it wasnt for the bestskinsever stuff it would be dead.

I want a phone with 3g. I refuse to get one with out it now especially since AT&T has announced that they are shifting the bands 2.5g and 3g...stupid.

I really dont want a full keyboard...and even a flip pearl would be fine if it had 3g. I actually contemplated buying a flip pearl if it came to AT&T to hold me over but it doesnt seem to be coming over and by the time it does there will be a new phone out there.

Does anyone have any info of something in the suretype keyboard coming?

I can do without a 3G device, but I sure would like to see a next generation candybar Pearl that has the same updates that the Bold has..new OS, high res screen, etc. I like the Pearl for the small form factor. I also like the large keys SureType keyboard.

Ive never been fond of the pearls, mainly because it throws of the numbering and then its a real problem trying to figure out which number matches with what letter

I had a Pearl with both AT&T and Verizon. It's a great phone for someone that needs personal email delivered to a handset, but doesn't need the bulk and size of a BB. I've had Curves, and now a Storm, but I still love the form factor of the Pearl.
