Default Ringtones arent working...

Please Login to Remove!

I just got my BB a few weeks ago and finally got a 1 gb sd. I put a few songs on it then decided to set them as ringers. They show they are the assigned ringers in the address book but will not play when I am called instead it plays the "generic" ringer that comes with the phone. Did I miss something in the book stating things stored on a mass storage device cant be used as ringers, or is there something else I need to do?

No its not plugged in and I've re-booted it many times now. The only ring tone that will play is the one I select to be the "default" ringer the other misc. ones I assign to select persons wont play. that is where it plays the generic one that came with the phone.

How large is the mp3 file? Try making it under 512kb, and less than 30 seconds long.
