As above I switched my keyboard to corrective from predictive and find that to be the desired experience. I am still learning what has changed in OS7. It's so much more of an enjoyable experience it's really too bad it too RIM this long to bring this level of device to market.
On my 9930 I find similar results under the same workload, maybe a tad better. At the end of the day I have around 50% battery remaining.

I shall agree that 9850 is a very nice device.

Received the 9850 from Sprint this morning and after playing with the device for few hours, I am impressed and think that this is better than the 9810 if physical keyboard is not a requirement.

The website pictures don't do justice for the device. The device doesn't look or feel anything like the OLD STORM.

PS: I test a lot of devices and due to my job role, currently have a Playbook, 9810 (Primary device), 9800, 9850, tour, 9700, DroidX & iPhone 4

Still love the device - use the browser WAY more than I have ever used any past devices. Was even shopping for pants online today, something I wouldn't have even entertained on my old 9650 (poor thing....feels so unloved now).

I have found the need to add several words to the custom dictionary so the device quits trying to fix them (like 'iPhone' which I find amusing).
