What is the most common reason to get this message?
Seems I used to be able to get ANY message.
Lately Ive been getting this a lot, EVEN IF I am on UMA or in highest EDGE signal I can have.

I will go to "retrieve now" in the menu and it does nothing.

Any ideas, suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks

I'm not sure what causes that but mine does it also, a battery pull seems to fix that for me

Ive tried that but that doesnt work for me.
Ive cleared out all the cache, history etc as well in case it was a memory problem but that doesnt fix it either.

my 8320 does this, when im on wifi, if you disable it, and drop back to GPRS/EDGE, the MMS will retrieve just fine.

Well, Ill try that again.
But Ive been on the road and it still wont retrieve.

Im just wondering if it isnt a "size of the message" issue.

Where it happens the most is when family are sending me photos from their cell phones that are different carriers. My daughters live out of state and try to send me photos and I get the message in my original post.
Am I missing something there as well?

I am getting the same thing. I have an unlocked 8320 and I get the same message when someone tries to send me a photo. Phone is new but I have yet to retrieve an MMS. No problem w/ SMS text. Any help on this?
