I am with you! I hope that RIM put a gun to ATT's head and said that if you do not release it sooner than later you will not see another new RIM device for a long time! <vbg>

i think the question becomes "who isn't getting one?"

It appears that Docs To Go will indeed be available for BIS users, at least with the initial reports. And HTML email as well.

Default Uma, Wes 2008

No surprise to me that they came out with it today. Blackberry had to come out with something big on the first day of the week-long WES 2008.

I know that wifi is included, but does that mean it has UMA?

Default T-Mobile

Since 3G iPhone is gonna to release this summer from AT & T. I can bet you that T-Mobile is gonna to get it FIRST. I don't think it is wise to put two big PDA on the same carrier to complete against each other.

Oh yeah, I'm buying one of THESE bad boys. Whats going to be sad though is the boys in the USA will get this first and charge an ARM/LEG+First borne for this unlocked!

iTunes support is a nice thing - wondering if BlackBerry Unite will do this ota?! Great news about this announcement is:

* Voice calls and Data simultaneously (you don't realize how HUGE this is)
* 1GB of Memory - its about time! (didn't see this coming)
* 30fps video playback & record @ 480-by-320 videos (I now have a reason NOT to buy another SE phone; thank you RIM)!!
* Bold includes an improved Web browser (but how, where? Hopefully Flash Lite3 support).
* "Download" app on the ribbon (whats that for? Archiving all OTA downloads?)

iPhone 3G what?! Love Apple MBP but for a remake of the Newton NOT for me!

What I expect from a Firmware update for this Bold around Xmas time?! MIDP 3 support! Oh yeah THAT will ROCK!

According to Infosync, the Bold will be released on AT&T in July for $300. Tmobile follows in September for $350.

I am so ready for this phone to be released. I like all of the new features RIM has packed into the device, but the with 1GB on board and up to 16GB via removable media, the camera really should have been bumped up. Seriously, this would have made this an all in one device. The only thing left would be to eliminate the TV remote, or my PS3 controller!

for the record the 16gb is just the verified memory. The curve with 4.5 supports 16gb. I am sure it will support more than that. 256gb being the theoretical limit of microSDs i hope we can see that someday!

256GB would be the coolest thing, except for backing that beast up.
